The state government has now decided to extend the timings of restaurants, shops etc. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has decided to open amusement parks from 22 October. However, water rides, pools etc will remain shut. Cinemas and theatres will also be allowed to open. Cinema halls can take only 50% of their capacity. Show timings will be spaced out, and only packaged food will be sold. They will have to follow strict covid guidelines. Experts are warning that there can be a third wave so why safety needs to be followed. People will have to download the Aarogya Setu App for further safety.
