Kangana Wants Compensation for Demolished Office
Kangana Ranaut met Union Minister Ramdas Athawale and demanded compensation from the BMC for the demolition of her office space.
Union Minister Ramdas Athawale met actor Kangana Ranaut at her home on 10th September 2020. He said, "I met actor Kangana Ranaut and talked with her for an hour. I told her she has nothing to fear in Mumbai. Mumbai is the country's economic capital and everybody has the right to live here. My party Republican Party of India (RPI) is with her. She told me she felt insulted. Her office that she got constructed in January has been damaged. She said she didn't know about 2-3 inches extra constructed by the builder.
The BMC should have demolished that part but it damaged the inside walls and furniture. She has approached the court against this and wants compensation,"
Mr Athawale said BMC has broken the law and did this because they were taking revenge on Kangana for her statements against the Shiv Sena and Mumbai. Kangana Ranaut even Tweeted and said, “Dear Congress president Sonia Gandhi ji, being a woman do you feel bad at how I am being mistreated by your Maharashtra government? Please request your government to follow the rules of the constitution.”
