Hello & a happy new year to all the Deaf women in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai & Thane. This 2023 I am sure you are all looking forward to having new experiences. Why am I congratulating Deaf women? BFDW is an NGO based in Mumbai. They have made an amazing announcement. They have been active since 39 years and since 2016 they have been training Deaf women. Their aim is to empower, provide accessibility, create awareness and ensure Deaf women do not depend on hearing people. They have been training women to become independent. Amazing! Now they have started a new course where they will teach MS Office. They will teach you Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Wow! Many of you physically go to book train tickets & movie tickets,
Sometimes you have to physically meet people to hand over cash. All this takes a very long time. BFDW will teach you how to do these bookings online in an easy way! Whoa! Isn't that cool! What they are teaching is so useful! They will also provide General Knowledge, guidance and empower Deaf women who are depressed. This course will make you independent and you won't have to depend on your hearing family members, friends, etc. This is so useful! What an amazing course! It will even make you eligible for jobs as the course teaches your MS-Office arms you with all the skills. How useful! The course starts from 10th January 2023. You do not have to pay any fees! Those living outside Mumbai are welcome but they have to manage their own stay and living expenses. You can stay at a relative's place & manage yourself. The classes will be on Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday from 11am to 4pm. BFDW wants to employ two people. Deaf women skilled in stiching aprons, gloves, oven mittens, bags, purses, etc. are welcome to apply.
Once you do the interview, you will be selected. BFDW will also give you salary. You will have to go to work every Saturday. Timings are from 10am to 4pm.
