The 3rd West Zone T20 Cricket Championship of the Deaf was held between 6th to 9th May 2019. ISH News representative Mansi Shah Interviewed prominent personalities in the field of Deaf cricket. She spoke to members of the All India Sports Council of the Deaf (AISCD) S.Dhanraj, Deepak Shah, Irshad Khan President of Maharashtra Sports Council of the Deaf (MSCD), General Secretary Gopal Birare of MSCD, Sanjit Sangvekar President of Mumbai & District Cricket Association of the Deaf and Vinay Kadam General Secretary of Mumbai & District Cricket Association of the Deaf. This was the first time such an event was held in Mumbai and it has helped to encourage talented Deaf cricketers.
